Purpose Bred Retrievers for Active Homes
In early 2003, an orange ball of fluff—with teeth—arrived from Alison Strang’s Westerlea Kennels. Trio didn’t just join our home—she
launched our journey into the Toller world.Through Trio, we discovered conformation, obedience, and field work, and she led us into duck and upland hunting. She ignited our passion for Hunt Tests and Working Certificate Tests, and her offspring became the foundation of Kasomor Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers.
At Kasomor, our Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers are bred to be true partners—dogs with heart, drive, and personality. They thrive in homes built on connection, teamwork, and an active lifestyle.
You’ll find Kasomor Tollers competing in Conformation,Obedience, Rally, Tracking,Barn Hunt, Agility, Lure Coursing, Hunt Tests, Working Certificate Tests,Service Dog roles, and 4-H. But beyond the titles, they are first and foremost devoted family dogs—happiest curled up on the couch, sneaking onto the bed, and involved in everyday life.
Above all, they want to be with their people.
When it’s time to do what they were bred for, our Tollers truly shine—in the field, hunting.
As you explore our website, you’ll see how far this journey has taken us—and the joy these dogs have brought into our lives.
Enjoy!

CH Kasomor’s Chips Ahoy By La Brisa PCD, NS, RA × CH Kasomor’s Dancing Thru The Fire
This is a long-planned breeding and one we’re really excited about. Check out the combined pedigree — it’s packed with strong field and conformation dogs. Both sire and dam are NN for CDDY. We’re expecting fun, versatile pups that should be just as comfortable in the ring, in the field, or hanging out on the couch.
Enquiries welcome.
